Electric locomotive series 103

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 103 electric locomotive. Version with a “short” driver’s cab, single-arm pantographs, front apron and buffer panel. Crimson red/beige basic color scheme. Company number 103 152-5. Operating condition from 1979.

Model: With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Regulated high-performance drive with flywheel installed centrally. Two axles in each bogie are driven via cardan. traction tires. Triple headlights and two red marker lights that change depending on the direction of travel work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Headlights on locomotive sides 2 and 1 can each be switched off digitally separately. Double A light function. Driver's cab lighting that changes with the direction of travel and engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED). Separately attached imitation radiators, handlebars, windshield wipers, UIC sockets and roof cables. Buffer height according to NEM. Brake lines, sockets, steps, screw couplings and closed aprons are included as separately attachable parts. Length over buffers 22.4 cm.
