New for 2022: With the n-wagons, PIKO has added a vehicle type to its range that is a must on practically every model railroad whose subject is the Bundesbahn or DB AG. As with the prototype, the models also differ depending on the car class in terms of window layout and interior fittings; the pitches have been converted into size N according to the prototype. Mold construction at the highest level ensures extremely plastic-looking bogies and the high-quality paintwork and printing that PIKO is used to give the vehicles an excellent finish. The vehicles are prepared for the uncomplicated retrofitting of interior lighting.

コミューター客車(シルバー客車)でも、よくよく見ると、各社(ピコ社、フライシュマン社)で塗色や設定に微妙な差があります。
そうしたバリエーションは、各社がモデル化したときのモデル車両によって、一見画一のイメージが定着しているはずのシルバー客車に、味わいを醸し出しています。
最も顕著な差違は、シルバー客車の下部フレームにシルバーを施すか、それにブルーを施すかですが、なかなか目立って面白いです。
そうした楽しみもオマケとしてあるのが、興味深いところです。
