The 18 323 steam locomotive is a German Federal Railway (DB) express train steam locomotive from Era III. It was in service throughout West Germany until 1969 and is considered an icon of its time. The model is finished in the black and red livery with Witte smoke deflectors and Indusi (train protection system) on the driver's side, depicting its operating condition around 1966.

The model features an mfx digital decoder with extensive sound functions. The controlled high-efficiency propulsion system with a flywheel in the boiler ensures realistic running dynamics. The locomotive and tender are largely made of metal and offer a variety of digital functions, including speed-dependent smoke emission and various lighting options. The length over buffers is 27.2 cm, and the minimum operating radius is 360 mm. Matching period-appropriate passenger cars are available in the Märklin H0 range.
