With the Sggnss’80 container wagon, it is now possible for the first time to transport containers with a total length of 80 feet on a four-axle bogie wagon.

The wagon has a length of 25,940 mm and is manufactured by Tatravagonka and Greenbrier Europe.

It is mostly used in unit trains; currently, the Sggnss’80 is used by companies including Metrans, VTG, Boxxpress, RailCargoAustria, SETG, GATX, and the StLB.

Perfect locomotives for this are our models of the Siemens Vectron and the Vossloh diesel locomotives G1000, G1700, and DE18.
