The BR 101 in the DB AG livery in Era V.

In its 1:160 scale model of the BR 101, PIKO has captured the exterior design of the three-phase locomotive perfectly. Details such as the DSA 350 single-arm pantographs have been delicately recreated. The sharply engraved bogies behind the low-slung skirts perfectly round off the locomotive's visual impression. A powerful mid-mounted motor provides propulsion. Two brass flywheels on the motor shaft ensure excellent synchronization. The locomotive also features two diagonally arranged wheels with traction tires for good traction. In addition to the LED headlights, the model also features cab lighting. The BR 101 sound version comes with a matching PIKO sound decoder.
