Electric locomotive series 185 of the DB AG, epoch VI

With the completely new construction of the BR 185, PIKO is fulfilling the desire of many model railroaders for a contemporary model of this modern locomotive series. The striking proportions of the prototype were perfectly scaled and transferred to the model. The detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and filigree pantographs
are testament to modern toolmaking and manufacturing techniques. With its two finely balanced centrifugal masses, the powerful mid-engine ensures excellent driving characteristics and traction, which is further supported by two diagonally arranged traction tires. From the factory, the model has maintenance-free LED lighting with light changes that depend on the direction of travel, as well as a modern Next18 interface for the easy installation of a digital decoder that is even more prototypical Allows operation on the model railway system.
