Electric locomotive series 141 of the Deutsche Bahn.

The machines of the series E 41 (from 1968: 141) were first delivered to the Deutsche Bundesbahn in 1956 for light and mixed service on main lines with a maximum speed of 120 km/h and a continuous output of 2,310 kW. They were the only series in the standard locomotive program to receive a switchgear on the low-voltage side of the transformer. The switchgear had a characteristic noise development, which, along with the large jumps in traction, led to the nickname "firecracker".
From 1987, the locomotives were given an oriental red livery.
