Electric locomotive Re 4/4 I of the SBB in TEE livery of era IV.
The model impresses with successful mold construction, delicate metal pantographs, a prototypical roof garden and numerous attached details. The model is also technically up to date and impresses with its excellent driving characteristics and lighting using modern LED technology. The model has a PSD XP sound decoder ex works and can boast numerous digital and sound functions.
The model bears the “fits mfx” quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital centers, a new quality mark “fits mfx” was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone a special mfx test and have passed it completely. These decoders and the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx” quality mark, which certifies the unrestricted mfx functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx” logo now fully support the diverse functions of mfx.
