The PIKO model is characterized by the successful mold construction without annoying mold separating edges and the harmonious implementation of all relevant details of its model.

The lighting is done by LEDs. The driver's cab lighting and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with the PluX22 decoder. The model with a zinc die-cast frame has a five-pole motor with precisely balanced flywheels for excellent driving characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inner axles of both bogies.

The sound version of the electric locomotive has an mfx®-capable sound decoder ex works.

Attachable brake hose dummies are included with the model.
