New for 2022 With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive, PIKO is fulfilling the wishes of PIKO fans who, both as plant operators and collectors, have decided on models based on the latest railway technology. With the Vectron, PIKO supplies a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid zinc die-cast frame and equipped with tried and tested PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor ensures excellent running properties with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is increased by two traction tires, which sit on the axles running inside both bogies in a diagonal arrangement to one another. The head and tail lamps are illuminated by LEDs, the red or white of which changes with the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical ¡Èroof landscape¡É and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. Print variant of the BR 193 with LTE Neptunes imprinted in Era VI. The model is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker and has a PluX22 interface.
