Articulated tank car "ORV" of the On Rail, epoch VI

Print variant of the articulated tank car in the execution of epoch VI. At the beginning of the nineties, the first tank trucks were built with a so-called “kink boiler”. The boiler was designed in such a way that the two boiler halves incline 3 ° towards the center. That is why the content of the kettle, mainly mineral oil products, flows off almost completely without any additional aids. Since the vehicles made of lightweight steel are suitable for higher speeds, they were soon procured by other companies across Europe. These wagons can be found as P (= private) wagons in the stock of all European railway companies.
