This 70' heavyweight horse car is painted in the two-tone post-war gray scheme and runs on 6-wheel passenger trucks. Built in 1928 by ACF as part of series 8440-8669 these cars were used to transport valuable livestock between race tracks and training facilities during the 20s and 30s. The New York Central System served most of the northeast, including New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan among other states.
