The EW1 of the TT model track is currently being revised. It will be based on the three-way switch in terms of appearance and technology, i.e. the frogs are now made of metal.
In addition to a significant visual improvement, this brings another advantage: the frogs can be supplied with electricity, which ensures optimal current collection, especially with short locomotives and when traveling slowly. As with the three-way switch, the frogs are initially without electricity and can be polarized accordingly using the motorized underfloor drive or with a relay when using the overground drives. The new EW1 also has new, improved switch blades.
