Prototype: Heavy US steam locomotive of Class 3900 'Challenger', in the rebuild version with oil tender of the Union Pacific Railroad (UP). Executed in the condition as a museum locomotive in Cody Park in North Platte NE, with the operating number 3977. Era III and VI.

Model: With digital decoder mfx+ and extensive light and sound functions. Different operational sounds such as refilling oil and water or sounds from opening and closing sliding windows and ventilation flaps in the driver's cab additionally digitally switchable. Regulated high-performance drive with flywheel in the boiler. 6 axles driven. Traction tires. Curved joint chassis. Boxpok wheels. Headlight on locomotive and tender. Front signal conventionally in operation, digitally switchable. Driver's cab lighting and illuminated number plates/marker lights separately digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. Buffer storage. Speed-dependent dynamic smoke emission built-in as standard and also digitally switchable. Powerful speaker in the tender. Coupling imitation at the front can be inserted into the standard pocket at the rail sweeper. Short coupling with kinematics between locomotive and tender. Steam lines on the front driving axle pivoting guided with the cylinders. Attached grab bars made of metal. Many other attached details. Engineer and fireman figure in the driver's cab. Locomotive screwed onto a presentation base as transport protection.

Length over couplings 42.5 cm.
