- MHI Model | One-time series -

Prototype: German Federal Railways (DB) class 98.3 glass box (formerly Bavarian PtL 2/2) with a dead-shaft and triple headlights, and three Bavarian-designed local railway cars. One baggage and mail car and two 2nd-class passenger cars. They look as they did in Era III around 1957.

Model: Locomotive with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Miniature motor in the boiler. 2 axles powered. Traction tires. Triple headlights change over with the direction of travel, in conventional operation, digitally controllable. With buffer storage. Separable, current-conducting coupler, digitally controllable. Inner boiler made of metal. Body made of metal-filled plastic for improved tractive effort. Numerous separately applied handrails and grab bars. Intricate reproduction of the boiler fittings and other details.

Length over buffers approximately 8.0 cm

Both passenger cars and the mail car feature factory-installed LED interior lighting with buffer storage and detachable, current-conducting couplers. The cars are powered by the locomotive. Total length over the buffers is approximately 50 cm.

This model can be found in a DC version in the Trix H0 assortment under item number 21229.
