Consisting of a Business/First-Class end car (type Ampz), a First-Class car (type Ampz), a Bistro car (type BRmpz), a Multi-purpose car (type Bbmpvz), an Economy-Class car (type Bmpz), and an Economy-Class driving trailer (type Bfmpz).

With the Railjet 2, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) continues its successful high-speed strategy and introduces a new generation of long-distance trains that combine maximum comfort, modern technology, and improved energy efficiency. The Railjet 2 is based on the so-called Viaggio Next Level platform from manufacturer Siemens Transportation and was designed as the successor to the proven Railjet 1. It focuses more on a closed train formation with continuous passenger guidance and a high degree of modularity.
