Prototype: Express steam locomotive 18 314 with oil-fired main firing and a type 2'2'T34 oil-fired tender of the German State Railways (DR/GDR). Rebuilt version as an experimental locomotive for the VES-M Halle (Saale).
Version with a Reko boiler and partial fairing, based on the steam locomotive 18 314 (former Baden IVh). With Witte smoke deflectors and one-sided induction. It looks as it did around 1968.
Model: With an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler. Three axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive and tender are largely constructed of metal.
The locomotive comes with a smoke unit installed as standard, with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emission. The triple headlights change over with the direction of travel, in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. In addition, two red lights at the front of the locomotive can be digitally controlled. The cab lighting and chassis lighting can be digitally controlled separately. The lighting is provided with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. The locomotive has a buffer storage unit. A close coupling with a kinematic mechanism between the locomotive and tender. The tender has a kinematic-guided close coupling with an NEM shaft. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm. For large radii or display cases, a panel without a wheel cutout below the cab is included for replacement. Piston rod protection tubes and brake hoses are also included. Length over buffers: 27.2 cm.
