Henschel-Wegmann train
The Henschel-Wegmann train was initially shown at the exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Germans
Railways was exhibited in Nuremberg from July 14th to October 13th, 1935 and was then sent for further processing
Kassel. When the summer timetable came into force in 1936, the Henschel-Wegmann train ran on the Berlin – Dresden route
two pairs of trains per day. It took him one hour and 40 minutes to complete one route, exceeding the previous one
Record by 28 minutes, a record that still stands today. In the official calculations, the Reichsbahn measured theirs
Speed only between Berlin and Dresden Neustadt and thus neglected the last kilometers to the

Luckily it didn't have to be turned on the turntable. This turnaround time problem was solved by
the Reichsbahn fixed in the winter timetable of 1936.
