Thanks to the powerful engine with precisely balanced flywheels, the PIKO model of the 219 impresses with its smooth running and considerable pulling power. The shape and color design of the locomotive, called a “submarine” because of its portholes, is not inferior to its precision mechanical precision. A digital interface according to NEM 652 enables the easy installation of a suitable decoder. The model is also prepared for retrofitting sound with the largest possible loudspeaker.
