Electric locomotive series 482 of the SBB, epoch VI

New for 2023: With the completely new construction of the class 482, PIKO is fulfilling the desire of many model railroaders for a contemporary model of this modern locomotive series. The striking proportions of the prototype were perfectly scaled and transferred to the model. The detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and filigree pantographs are evidence of modern toolmaking and production techniques. With its two finely balanced centrifugal masses, the powerful mid-engine ensures excellent driving characteristics and traction, which is further supported by two diagonally arranged traction tires. The model has maintenance-free LED lighting ex works with light changes depending on the direction of travel, as well as a modern Next 18 interface for the easy installation of a digital decoder, which enables even more prototypical operation on the model railway layout.
