Diesel locomotive 236 216 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn.

¢£ Version without roof pulpit
¢£ Enlarged coolant expansion tank
¢£ Additional fuel tanks on the engine stem
¢£ In digital operation with switchable shunting light

The WR 360 C 14 diesel locomotives were originally used by the German Wehrmacht for use at strategically important points. With the end of the Second World War, she became a civilian all-rounder.
Although the V 36 was curiously used under the same name in West and East Germany after the war, there were clear differences between the two variants: On the DB, two additional fuel tanks on the front end of the engine increased the range of the locomotive. In addition, the DB-V 36 got a DB-style front radiator grille and a cooling water expansion tank on the front end. The side radiator fan grilles were closed with panels, and there was no side maintenance flap on the stem.
The last locomotives, now known as the 236 series, were in service with the DB until 1981.
