Supplementary car for the high-speed multiple unit RABe 501 "Giruno" of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). 1 intermediate car B (B11), 2nd class, with a pantograph. 1 intermediate car C (B10), 2nd class. Current operating status 2021.

2-piece add-on car set to expand the RABe 501 "Giruno" high-speed multiple unit to an 11-piece unit. Standard built-in interior lighting with maintenance-free, warm-white light-emitting diodes (LED). The interior lighting is supplied via the continuous electrical connection of the entire train and is only functional and can be controlled digitally in combination with the basic set. The pantograph on an intermediate car can also only be raised and lowered separately as a digital function in conjunction with the basic set via the decoder. Both intermediate cars are firmly coupled to each other. Link guide in the Jakobs bogies. Scale replica. Minimum radius that can be driven on is 360 mm. Length of the pair of carriages 40.2 cm.

The 39810 basic set can be expanded to a prototypical 11-car unit with the 43461, 43462, and 43463 add-on car sets.
