With the H0 model of the Vectron "Flixtrain" electric locomotive in epoch VI, PIKO fulfills the wishes of PIKO fans, who both operate as plant operators and as collectors have opted for models based on models of state-of-the-art railway technology.
With the Vectron, PIKO is delivering a high-precision model with numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and proven PIKO standards. The proven PIKO engine ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is amplified by two traction tires, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front and rear lights is via LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles.
