The private railway company Lokomotion, based in Munich, has been operating in the international freight traffic for almost 20 years. The company Lokomotion and its Italian subsidiary Rail Traction Company have been each operating 5 locomotives of the Siemens series 189 for several years now. These locomotives were bought by the locomotive leasing company MRCE and have been operating for the two companies ever since. The locomotives of the company Lokomotion have blue zebra stripes and the locomotives of the Italian subsidiary RTC have red zebra stripes.
